The Westermo LD-01 DC Industrial Line Sharing Modem is an industrial communication device designed to transmit serial data over dedicated copper lines using current-loop technology. It supports W1 line-sharing communication, allowing compatible serial devices to communicate over long distances where conventional Ethernet cabling is unsuitable or unavailable. The LD-01 DC provides an RS-232 interface and operates from a DC power supply.
