The SCALANCE W774-1 M12 EEC is a rugged Industrial WLAN (IWLAN) access point designed for reliable wireless communication in transportation and industrial environments. Equipped with a single radio, two R-SMA antenna ports, and support for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/h/n standards, it operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands with a gross data rate of up to 300 Mbit/s. Advanced features can be enabled via a KEY-PLUG, while WPA2/802.11i/e security ensures protected wireless communications. The device features two M12 Ethernet ports supporting data rates up to 100 Mbit/s, an integrated PoE-capable 2-port switch, and a redundant 24 V DC power supply for enhanced network availability. Designed for demanding railway and transportation applications, it includes conformal coating and complies with EN 50155 requirements. With an IP30-rated housing, M12 A-coded connectors, and an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +65 °C, the SCALANCE W774-1 M12 EEC delivers dependable performance in harsh conditions. The scope of delivery includes M12 sealing caps and German/English manuals on CD-ROM, and the device is intended for operation outside the USA and Israel, subject to applicable national approvals.
