The Videotec USB485 USB CONVERTER is a compact USB-to-RS-485 interface adapter designed to connect a computer to compatible RS-485 equipment. It supports communication between a PC and Videotec control devices, including DCJ control keyboards, as well as other compatible RS-485 devices. The converter uses a USB Type-A connector on the computer side and an RJ11 connector for the RS-485 interface. It draws power directly from the USB port, so no separate power supply is required. With USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 Full Speed compatibility, it provides a practical interface for servicing and configuring supported surveillance equipment.
