The SCALANCE WAM766-1 EEC is a next-generation Industrial WLAN (IWLAN) access point featuring IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) technology for high-performance and reliable wireless communication in demanding industrial environments. Equipped with a single radio operating on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, it delivers gross data rates of up to 1201 Mbps per radio and includes two N-Connect antenna interfaces for flexible antenna deployment. Advanced features are supported via a CLP (Configuration Plug), while the integrated CLP slot enables simple configuration management and device replacement. The access point features a Gigabit M12 Ethernet socket, PoE capability, redundant 24 V DC power inputs via an M12 L-coded connector, and digital input/output (DI/DO) interfaces for enhanced integration into industrial systems. With its rugged IP65-rated housing, M12 and A-coded connectors, and operating temperature range of -30 °C to +75 °C, the SCALANCE WAM766-1 EEC is built for reliable operation in harsh industrial and outdoor applications. The scope of delivery includes sealing caps for all connections. Intended for operation outside the USA and Israel, the device must be used in accordance with applicable national approval requirements.
