The SCALANCE XR552-12M is a managed Industrial Ethernet (IE) switch designed for 19-inch rack installation, featuring 4 x 1000/10000 Mbit/s SFP+ ports and 12 x 100/1000 Mbit/s 4-port media modules available in electrical, electrical PoE, or optical configurations, with all ports conveniently located on the front for easy access and maintenance. It includes LED diagnostics, an error signaling contact, and a select/set pushbutton for simplified monitoring and operation. As a PROFINET IO device with advanced network management and an integrated redundancy manager, it ensures reliable communication and high network availability. Office networking features such as RSTP, VLAN, and IGMP enhance traffic control and network performance, while Layer 3 functionality is prepared for future expansion requirements. Supplied with a C-plug for configuration backup and seamless device replacement, the SCALANCE XR552-12M delivers scalable, flexible, and robust networking performance for demanding industrial environments.
