The MOXA NPort P5150A-T Serial to Ethernet Device Server connects RS-232/422/485 serial equipment to Ethernet-based industrial networks. It enables legacy devices to exchange data with networked computers, controllers, and monitoring systems without replacing their serial interfaces. The device provides one serial port and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port for industrial communication. Designed for demanding installations, the NPort P5150A-T supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) based on IEEE 802.3af, as well as a 12–48 VDC power input. Its wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C supports deployment in industrial environments where ambient conditions can vary.

The MOXA NPort P5150A-T improves Industrial Connectivity through flexible TCP and UDP operating modes, Real COM and TTY drivers, and web-based configuration. Built-in surge protection for serial, Ethernet, and power interfaces helps protect against electrical transients. Its watchdog timer can automatically reboot the device when required. PoE support simplifies installation by allowing power delivery over the Ethernet cable, reducing the need for a separate power supply. The metal housing, 1.5 kV Ethernet isolation, and -40 to 75°C operating range support deployment in demanding industrial environments.
