Overview of MOXA DA-662A-16-LX Computer
The MOXA DA-662A-16-LX Rackmount Industrial Computer is a fanless, Arm-based embedded computer designed for industrial data acquisition and distributed control applications. It combines a MoxaMacro 500 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, 32 MB Flash, four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, and 16 software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports in a 1U, 19-inch rackmount enclosure. The system comes with Linux pre-installed and provides two USB 2.0 ports plus CompactFlash expansion for storage. Its configurable RS-232/422/485 interfaces support connection to controllers, meters, sensors, and other field equipment.
MOXA DA-662A-16-LX provides high-density Industrial Connectivity through 16 multi-protocol serial ports and four Ethernet interfaces. Serial communication supports speeds from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, with ADDC for RS-485 applications and 15 kV ESD protection across serial signals. Its fanless design reduces mechanical components, while the 1U rackmount format simplifies installation in control rooms and industrial cabinets. The system operates from -10 to 60°C and includes a watchdog for automatic reboot functions. Moxa specifies an MTBF of 177,260 hours for this model.
